Veg Biryani Restaurant Style Dinner Recipe Tasty Healthy Cooker Pan Rice Dish Loki Gourd Raita for Weight Loss Diet

VEGETABLE BIRYANI

Ingredients

  • 2 cups basmati rice
  • ¼ cup oil
  • 1 dried bay leaf
  • 2 whole star anise
  • 3 cloves
  • 4 cardamom green
  • 4 green chillies
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger paste
  • 1 tbsp garlic paste
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tomato, finely chopped
  • ½ cup chopped mint leaves
  • 1 medium carrot, peeled sliced
  • 1 small potato, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup small cauliflower florets
  • ½ cup green peas
  • ½ cup cut green beans
  • ½ cup yogurt
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 ½ cup stock or chicken cube 1 dissolved in 2 cup water
  • 1 tsp all spice powder
  • 1 tsp lemon juice, plus 3 lemon slices

Directions

1 Heat oil in a pan and add sliced onions.

2Fry till translucent then add ginger garlic paste,  tomatoes,  spices and vegetables.

3Add stock and rice, cook for 10 mins.

Lower the flame, cover with lid and cook for further 10 mins. Vegetable biryani is ready….serve hot with loki raita.

LOKI KA RAITA (BOTTLE GOURD RAITA)

Ingredients

  • Boiled and mashed bottle gourd 1 medium
  • Yogurt 2 cup
  • Salt
  • Cumin seeds 1tsp
  • Chaat masala 2tsp
  • Curry leaves 8 to 10
  • Red Chilli whole
  • Oil 4tbsp

Directions

1 Whisk the yogurt and add salt boile bottle gourd and chaat masala.

2Heat oil and add curry leaves Cumin seeds and red chillies……fry and add on top of raita.
