The king of all kebabs……These Peshawari Chapli kebabs are the most exotic beef cuisine you can try while travelling in Pakistan.
Crispy from outside and tender juicy from inside with the remarkable taste of pomegranate seeds ….this speciality of Peshawar is definitely going to make your mouth watery.
Ingredients
- Beef Mince 500 gm
- Onions chopped ½ cup( squeeze excess water)
- Pomegranate seeds (crushed, soaked and grind) 4 tbsp
- All spice powder 2 tbsp
- Maize flour (roasted) 4 tbsp
- Green chilies (chopped) 3-4
- Salt to taste
- Red chili flakes 2 tsp
- Coriander seeds (roasted & crushed) 2 tbsp
- Coriander leaves ½ cup
- Egg 2 (make plain omelette and break into small pieces)
- Carom seeds (1/2 tsp)
- Tomatoes (chopped) ½ cup
- Beef Fat (250 gm) optional or cooking Oil for frying
Directions For Gola Kebab
- In a bowl add all the ingredients except fat or oil and mix until well combined.
- Grease hands and make flat kebabs, not too thick preferably thin and elongated.
- Heat the fat in a large frying pan until dissolves, discard the leftover muscles.
- One by one add the kebabs and fry on medium high flame using flat spoon or spatula. Gently turn sides to avoid breakage.
Serve with tandoori Naan and raita.
