Ingredients
For Almond Barfi
- 1 Cup Almonds
- 1 Cup Milk
- 3/4 Cup Sugar
- 2 tablespoon Ghee/Clarified butter
For Garnishing
- Vraq, Silver leaf (optional)
Directions
- Take all the almonds, soak them overnight or soak them in hot water for 3 hour.
- Drain water from it and peel off the almond skin.
- Take a mixer grinder and put the peeled-off almonds and milk together and grind well. Make it into a paste.
- Take a nonstick pan, add 3 spoons and transfer the paste and sugar and put it on a medium flame.
- keep stirring until the mixture starts separating from the pan.
- Grease a plate with melted ghee/Clarified butter with the help of a brush.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased plate and make it even with a spatula.
- Garnish with silver varq.
- Let it cool down and cut into a square or diamond piece.
