Ingredients
- 1 cup soya chunks
- 1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 1/2 cup yoghurt (curd)
- 2 tomato
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon kasoori methi powder
- 2 tablespoon roasted peanuts
- 1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 onion
- 1 capsicum (green pepper)
- 1 teaspoon garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mango powder
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- salt as required
Directions For Making Puran
- Soak soya chunks for 30 minutes. Now add them to a saucepan and add water to it. Boil the chunks for 10-12 minutes. Now drain the water and wash chunks with cold water. Squeeze the soya chunks and keep them in a bowl.
- Now add curd in a bowl. Add the masala such as turmeric, coriander powder, red chilli powder, amchur, kasoori methi, salt, ginger and garlic paste. Mix them well to form a thick mixture. Now add soya chunks to this mixture and mix well. The soya chunks should be properly coated.
- Pour oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and let them splutter. Now add onions and saute them for a few minutes.
- Add chopped tomatoes and let them cook for 4-5 minutes by covering the pan with a lid.
- Now add chopped capsicum and marinated chunks. Mix well and cook on medium-high heat for another 6-8 minutes.
- Lastly, add garam masala and mix. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and roasted peanuts. Your tasty snack is ready to be served.
