Ingredients
- 1 cup jowar flour
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste
- salt as required
- 2 tablespoon yoghurt (curd)
- 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1/2 cup grated cabbage
- 1/2 cup grated carrot
- 1 teaspoon garlic paste
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds ground
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mango powder
- 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
Directions For Making Jowar Cutlet
- Add jowar flour, chopped cabbage, onion, carrot and coriander leaves to a bowl. Now add ginger-garlic paste, salt, black pepper, curd, dry mango powder, cumin seeds powder, and red chilli powder. Mix them well.
- Add water in batches and knead the ingredients into a dough using your hands.
- Now make small balls from the dough and flatten them out by pressing from the middle.
- Pour 2 tbsp oil into a pan and place the cutlets in it. Cover with a lid and let them cook for 4-5 minutes. Flip to the other side and cook till crispy and golden brown in colour.
- Once cooked, your jowar cutlets are ready to be served. Pair them with up mint chutney, ketchup and enjoy.
