Ingredients

  • ¼ cup cream malai
  • ¼ cup curd
  • ½ tsp ginger garlic paste 2 finely chopped chilli
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp garam masala
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp kasuri methi
  • 1 tsp corn flour
  • 1 tsp oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ diced onion
  • ½ diced capsicum
  • 12 cubes paneer
  • Oil for cooking

Directions For Making Paneer Malai Tikka

  1. In a bowl, add cream, curd and lemon juice. Mix well.
  2. Now add ginger galric paste, chilli, black pepper, garam masala, cumin or jeera and kasuri methi.
  3. Add cornflour, oil and salt. Mix all the ingredients well.
  4. Add onion, capsicum and paneer cubes. Mix well.
  5. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  6. Take a skewer and add paneer, capsicum and onion on it.
  7. Now take some oil on the tawa and roast.
  8. Turn around and roast both sides till they turn golden brown.
  9. Sprinkle some chat masala and serve with mint chutney.
  10. Now add turmeric powder, coriander powder,Kashmiri red chilli powder,Anardana powder to it .Stir it nicely and let it fry on low flame . You have to fry onion and spices together for 1 minute.
  11. Add chopped tomatoes ,and salt to the spice mix.
  12. Cook on low/ medium flame for 4-5 minute till this masala mix looks done and everything is mixed up .After 4-5 minutes you will see that oil starts floating on the surface.
  13. Add grated paneer ,and pan fried Mushroom to the masala,
  14. Mix it nicely and stir it for 2-3 minute.
  15. Now add Kasoori methi (Crush it between your palm)
  16. Mix it well. Add ¼ cup of water to .The curry will be little thick not runny.
  17. Cook it till it reaches consistency of your liking.
  18. Add Cream to it.

For Tempering

  1. Take a tadka pan.
  2. Add ghee to it .
  3. Once ghee is hot add dry red chilli ,cumin seeds,chopped garlic to it . Once they look light brown add red chilli powder to it.
  4. Pour it immediately over your Curry otherwise chilli powder will burn .
  5. Your dhaba style mushroom ,paneer masala is ready to serve,.
  6. Enjoy with naan or roti.
